To creat outstanding or even good images you are in need for more than only a good camera equipment. That`s a undoubted fact. No camera system on earth delivers automatically not only one good picture.

But I am dependent on a tool, which allows me to realise my ideas of a perfect image also in a technical perfect way. This tool must fit my requirements and I must rely on it 100 percent in all (un)imaginable situations.

In my opinion, the LEICA-system, which I use since the beginning of my photographers life, meets this condition nearly perfect. Along with it´s rugged reliability I particularly admire the outstanding optical and mechanical performance of the LEICA-lenses.

I use the LEICA R-system as well as the LEICA M-system (rangefinder).

Last but not least some words to my digital workflow: I use Phase One´s Capture One as my RAW workflow solution. In my opinion Capture One is an outstanding solution, which enables me to use the whole potential of my DNG-files. Great!
